Everything Happens For A Reason! An eraser is something you reach for when you make a mistake. So I wanted the cover to say: that's okay. The phrase "Everything Happens For A Reason" repeats across the design in two ways: stacked over and over in dense type with individual letters breaking out in a different typeface, and wrapped continuously across all four sides of the eraser so it loops into itself as you rotate it. The repetition feels like a mantra, something you keep coming back to.
