Hello! I’m Sungmin Chun, a graphic designer based in New York City, currently studying Communication Design at Parsons School of Design. My work focuses on visual storytelling through typography and editorial design, often exploring themes of memory, archives, and everyday moments.

I often work with personal and found materials, such as family photographs, printed matter, and observations from daily life. Through these, I explore how images and objects can hold memories and shape the way we remember.

Working across both analog and digital processes, I create books and printed works that focus on small details and intimate moments. I enjoy working with others and approach my projects with a positive and thoughtful attitude, aiming to create designs that feel warm and engaging.

Hello! I’m Sungmin Chun, a graphic designer based in New York City and a recent graduate of Communication Design at Parsons School of Design.

I'm interested in visual storytelling through typography, editorial design, and printed matter. A lot of my work begins with personal experiences, family photographs, archives, or small things I notice in everyday life. Through these materials, I explore how images, objects, and design can hold memories and reflect personal stories. I'm drawn to design that starts from something personal and ends up feeling familiar to others.

I enjoy working across both analog and digital
processes, especially in book and print-based projects. I’m drawn to warm, thoughtful, and engaging design, and I enjoy collaborating with others while bringing positive energy into the creative process.
